A PS4 exclusive, Until Dawn is Supermassive Games attempt at a choose your path horror adventure. It works! This is a fun game that is a tribute to old horror movies. All the cliche beautiful teens are here for a scary experience on a mountaintop only accessible through a shoddy cable car.
This game has plenty of jump scares and allows you to make mistakes easily resulting in death. It is humorous and genuinely scary. It is fun and provides about 12 or so hours of game play. It is worth it to go back and and replay the game making different choices, you will find different story lines and information.
This game probably won’t be a huge seller and it is not for everyone but it is a must have for fans of the horror genre. Walk around the woods with your flashlight, back slowly out of a room waiting for something to happen. Tension and build up works great here.
This is definitely a good game to get you in the mood for Halloween. Sure, let’s take a bath with headphones on in a scary cabin on a mountain full of hostile creatures. Get away from the group to hook up. What could happen?
